amazon web services - Aws s3 pricing confusion in regards to "standard" and "not standard" -

per link below, there 2 ways of pricing requests : "standard way" , "otherwise not specified".

https://aws.amazon.com/s3/pricing/

i average s3 user, assuming charged under standard policy, ex 1 cent 10k requests.

then how 1 under "otherwise not specified" policy , charged .4 cents per 10k requests?

or assumption wrong?

there different storage classes can read about: https://aws.amazon.com/s3/storage-classes/

by default objects stored "standard" , suitable many needs. 1 cent 10k requests class' price.

if have large not needed data (like backups) can consider other storage classes if not need don't have bother now.
